RESCHEDULE, NO SHOW, and the CANCELLATION AND REFUND Policies
The Reschedule Policy allows students to reschedule their course one time at no cost or be placed on a To Be Determined roster with a one year limit. A subsequent rescheduling will incur a $20 processing fee. No refunds are available after rescheduling and the amount paid remains as a credit.
The No Show Policy refers to students who have paid for a course and do not call ahead to reschedule or cancel and request a refund prior to the class according to each those policies. It is the students’ responsibility to call the office to alert GMEC that they cannot make the class. A student who does not contact GMEC to cancel their course or does not show up for the course will forfeit all fees paid. No Shows do not qualify for a refund or a reschedule. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding this policy.
The Cancellation and Refund Policy states that students may cancel a course up to 72 hours prior to the start date. Refund requests will be honored when made prior to 72 hours of the course start time. Within 72 hours of course date, any payments made are not refundable. Due to the unique Course Package discount rates, packages are not eligible for full refund.
Notification process if class is cancelled: Participant will be notified by email as quickly as possible. GMEC will honor each student's credit and will reschedule the course at no cost. GMEC is not responsible for any loss of revenue, wages, hotel or travel expenses, or damages resulting from a canceled or rescheduled class.

ACLS Provider (Initial Course)
The AHA ACLS Course has been updated to
reflect new science in the 2015 American Heart Association Guidelines Update
for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care.

Course Vs 1-Day Course: The ACLS
Provider Course is typically scheduled as a 2-day course, but if the class size
remains 3 people or less the instructor may complete the course in one day.
& End Time: 8:30am to 4:30pm
each day (Course Length varies depending on class size)
Completion Card: AHA ACLS Provider
Cards are awarded on the same day upon the successful completion of the AHA
ACLS exam, and is valid for 2 years.
Education Hours: CEH’s are available
for qualified providers.

Materials: It is required for
learners to purchase the 2015 ACLS Provider Manual.

allow one week for shipping since this manual must be obtained prior to course
in order to complete included pre-course checklist)
Textbooks may be purchased on site or
for a more cost effective option please contact our office.
Recommendations: We strongly recommend that learners who have never
completed an ACLS course and are new to the concept of resuscitation and ECG, consider
registering for the ECG and Pharmacology Course. The ECG course will
prepare you for difficult concepts presented in the ACLS course such as: Heart
Blocks, Several forms of Tachycardia’s, Cardiac Arrest Algorithms, and the
Pharmacology of Bradycardia, Tachycardia, VF, Pulseless VT, Asystole, and PEA. Generally, the ECG and ACLS are bundled
together in a package with reduced pricing.

There is an application fee and process. Interested RNs must submit the $100 application fee, submit a resume, and complete an interview process. Eligible RNs will be notified of acceptance into the training program at which time the tuition will be due and training scheduled.
